PATIENT CARE INNOVATION MINI-HACKATHON

Boston Children’s Hospital’s very first invite-only mini-hackathon focusing on CLABSI. Sponsored by Boston Children’s Hospital’s Chief of Nursing and Division Chief of Critical Care

Registered Nurses, parents, clinical residents and other industry experts were invited to a day of brainstorming possible solutions for minimizing the risk of CLABSI (Central-Line Associated Blood Stream Infection).

Transforming pediatric health care through mobile games, virtual reality, augmented reality and immersive digital experiences.

Developers, engineers, designers, students, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles mentors, and gaming, VR and AR experts and enthusiasts brainstormed ideas, and built prototypes to pitch to a panel of experts.
